We've taught coding to young kids longer than anyone else in Singapore.
"My son has been with LCCL Coding Academy for 5 years, since he was in Kindergarten 2. Over the years, coding has become something he truly loves. He placed in the Top 20 in this year's Coding Olympics!"
"LCCL flexibly used different platforms to help kids develop different facets important to coders. Above all, the classes are fun, relaxing, and casual, and my kids love them!"
"I had some trouble with the programming and learned to never give up."
"Juliana is very dedicated in coaching my son with learning challenges to code in Scratch. She develops logical thinking in a fun and interactive way."
Not at all! Our experience shows that students who start at kindergarten age more easily cultivate good problem solving and learning attitudes that help lay the foundation for coding success.
Research by a group of educators in Singapore has shown that children younger than 5 cannot grasp the concept of loops well. This affects their learning progression. Starting at a minimum of 5 and no younger is best!
Parents drop off to help kids focus better. You're welcome to speak to the teacher after class for a face-to-face teacher feedback.
